name, logo, story

Developing the name and telling the story for Well Beings Charity was a process deeply rooted in purpose and clarity of mission. Recognizing the intricate relationship between animal welfare, environmental preservation, and climate advocacy, I wanted a name that would effortlessly embody this interconnected vision.

Well Beings launched in August 2019 with a star-studded gala and benefit at a beautiful farm in the Hamptons. In addition to developing the organization’s name, I also developed the name and brand for the benefit event, which now takes place yearly. With a trip to the Bolivian Amazon in February 2020, I created a campaign called “Unite in Difference” to help Well Beings Charity raise awareness about deforestation in the Bolivian Amazon.

On the day the campaign was scheduled to launch, however, news came that La Senda Verde Wildlife Sanctuary - the largest animal sanctuary in South America - was forced into quarantine by the Bolivian Government due to the Covid-19 crisis.

I encouraged Well Beings Charity to pull the media spend from the “Unite in Difference” campaign and instead use it to help raise money to save the sanctuary.

Rapid response campaign

In response to this crisis, I worked with Well Beings Charity to create the Senda Verde COVID-19 Relief Fund. I developed a rapid response digital fundraising campaign with a goal of raising enough money to feed 800+ animals. Through our efforts, Well Beings Charity also aimed to raise awareness of the link between deforestation and animal trafficking.

Additionally, Well Beings was able to increase awareness of the importance of rewilding the Amazon and assist with the launch of Senda Verde’s Native Bee Project.

The Results

In the end, our digital fundraising campaign outperformed all expectations.

Well Beings Charity ultimately raised over $250K while bringing awareness to the deforestation and animal trafficking crisis in the Bolivian Amazon.

Through our digital fundraising campaign alone, Well Beings Charity collected $46,000+ in donations - enough to feed approximately 900 animals for 64 days at a cost of $720/day.

Financier and Bolivian native Marcelo Claure heard about the initiative and offered to TRIPLE MATCH every donation so that each dollar donated became three.

Together we Saved Senda Verde.
